Description

EDIT: This is the whole cast of the Dalziel Ponies! Who is your favourite?

Well recently I've become addicted to My Little Pony - Friendship Is Magic!

So I decided to start drawing myself and my friends at my school as wonderfully cute ponies!

Scribble Sketch (Myself)
~A very artistic unicorn
~Cutie Mark - Blue pencil with a squiggle

Scribble was the last one to get her Cutie Mark in her class. She never had good grades because she never payed attention, she was always drawing and doodling in class. One day though, when she was on her way home from school, a colt who was an art collector bumped into her, making her drop her sheets of drawings. He picked one up and was very impressed, offering to buy it off her. Scribble felt this surge of happiness that someone thought her art was good enough to be sold...thus she wanted to draw art for ponies to love and appreciate. She opened up an art commissioning shop and earned her Cutie Mark.

Ree-Ree Curls (Reece)
~Captain of the Barclay Ponies
~Cutie Mark - Blue Shield

Ree-Ree was the most popular of his class, but he feared this was because of his good looking appearance instead of his personality. He then made friends with the 'Dalziel Ponies' who appreciated him for his charming personality. He joined the Barclay class team for sports but realised how dysfunctional the team was - none of the pegasi, unicorns or ponies on the team could work together. Thus he used his charming personality to get them to listen and lead them to victory. Afterwards Ree-Ree was voted captain of the team, making him realise his skill for leadership and granting him his Cutie Mark.

Pasta Racer (Lauren)
~A Pegasus of the dramatic arts
~Cutie Mark - Theater Masks

Pasta was a very shy pegasus in her class and didn't really stand out. Though she loved to practice plays in her home she was too afraid to perform to an audience. However, after seeing a stage play of 'Romecolt and Julimare' she became entranced with the atmosphere of the theater. After that she felt the courage to audition for a school play and received a standing ovation for her lead role. Pasta joined the local theater in Ponyville to follow her dream of becoming a well known name - her Cutie Mark symbolizing this.

Unity Hearte (Natalie)
~A unicorn who supports any kind of love!
~Cutie Mark - Three Love Hearts

As a young filly, Unity was obsessed with the concept of love. She read all sorts of romantic novels to understand the different ways love can blossom. Unity then discovered the different types of love as she grew older - how two colts could love each other or even two mares. She realised some ponies didn't even understand what they were attracted to. Thus she strove to help every pony find their one true love, starting up a dating agency and love therapy clinic. Her hearts symbolise her support of all types of love. She is also Bottle Neck's girlfriend.

Zapper Bip-Bip (Dillan)
~A pony who just can't keep his hooves from the controller!
~Cutie Mark - Games Controller

Zapper had an obsession with games when he was young and this extended into his teens with the introduction of video games to Ponyville! He wanted to play all these brilliant games, and show that he was good at something without the need for wings or a horn. Fair to say he succeeded and became Ponyville's best pony at any sort of game (though his specialty is video games). Ponies started to ask him for advice when playing games and he saw that he could give these ponies the help they needed! His Cutie Mark shows his expertise of a true gamer.

Badda Swing (Sarah)
~A pony who knows how to swing a bat!
~Cutie Mark - Two beater bats and a ball

Badda loved to play Hoofitch (Pony version of Quidditch) though not many teams would let her play because of her petite looking build. They told her she wasn't built to play such a sport. So she took it upon herself to practice day and night to try and get recognised. She thought she needed to get to grips with different terrain that the game could be played on thus ventured out to the Everfree Forest. Though she was scared, Badda found out that the trees there were perfect for crafting Hoofitch Beater Bats! With the new found knowledge she started to craft unique bats and sporting equipment and opened up her own Sport Essentials shop! Her Cutie Mark shows her efforts in the Beater Bat field!

Calculus (Steven)
~A pony who relies on facts and figures!
~Cutie Mark - Square Root Sign over an Infinite Symbol

Calculus has never understood the workings of a unicorn's magic or how a pegasus can possibly fly. Thus he spent his whole life studying hard in the areas of math and science to try and find logical conclusions to this. His skills in maths were essential in the businesses of many ponies and he became as a sort of financial and stock adviser to them, earning his math themed Cutie Mark. He struggles to comprehend on matters that don't rely on maths such as art or drama (leading to debates with Scribble Sketch and Pasta Racer).

Bottle Neck (David)
~A boozy pegasus who knows the right drinks for a party
~Cutie Mark - Flowing Alcohol Bottle

Bottle once attended one of Pinkie Pie's parties and was probably the only one not impressed by the display. He found that nobody was really letting loose enough to enjoy themselves and sought out to find out why. As he reached his teens he realised what the party was missing - alcohol. Thus, whenever Pinkie Pie or any other pony had a party, he secretly supplied ponies with alcohol to let them loose and enjoy themselves. He did eventually open up a liquor store in Ponyville to expand his business. His taste for stronger drinks earned him his Cutie Mark. He is also Unity Hearte's boyfriend.
